Privacy Policy

• Account information — your email address, used to create and secure your account (via our authentication provider).
• Instagram account information — when you connect Instagram, we receive your Instagram username, account type, profile picture, and an access token that lets us publish on your behalf.
• Content you create — the photos, captions, listing details, and post designs you add to Yard Sign.
• Basic usage data — limited technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

We use your information only to provide and improve the service:

• Save your draft and scheduled posts so you can return to them.
• Render your designs into images.
• Publish posts to your Instagram account — only when you ask us to.

We use the Instagram API with Instagram Login and request only two permissions: instagram_business_basic (to show which account is connected) and instagram_business_content_publish (to publish the carousels and posts you create). We never post without your explicit action, never read your private messages, and never use your data for advertising. Your access token is stored securely and used only on our servers to publish content you initiate.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that run Yard Sign on our behalf:

• Supabase — secure database and image storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Meta / Instagram — to publish the posts you create.

You can disconnect Instagram at any time from the Connections page, which immediately deletes your stored access token. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — see our Data Deletion page. If you remove Yard Sign from your Instagram settings, Instagram notifies us and we delete the related connection automatically.

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your data is restricted by row-level security so each user can only reach their own records, and access tokens are kept server-side only and never exposed to the browser.

You may access, correct, or delete your information at any time. Contact us at privacy@yardsignsocial.com and we will respond promptly.

Yard Sign is intended for professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
